Overview of an eAssist Success Consultant:
Success Consultants provide Dental Billing, Patient Portion, or Insurance Verification services for our clients, conveniently from their own home offices. They are responsible for providing assistance in a variety of forms to help alleviate workload and stress from the office. This incredibly valuable role creates relationship with our offices, provides them with Peace of Mind, and allows the office team to focus on other tasks while we take care of their billing and other needs behind the scenes. We have an upside down pyramid approach to leadership, with Success Consultants being on top. Success Consultants are the most important part of our organization–right after our clients.
Success Consultant Opportunity Details:
Dental Billing Success Consultants are part of a team that is responsible for meeting our Brand Promise of:
- collecting 100% of what is rightfully owed
- submitting clean claims within 24 hours of being batched
- posting payments accurately within 24 hours along with proper adjustments
- following up on aged claims over 30 days every 14 days
- getting the over 90 insurance aging to zero and keeping it there.
Patient Portion Success Consultants are responsible for reviewing ledgers to send a series of patient statements and make follow-up phone calls to collect outstanding patient balances. Insurance Verification Success Consultants gather patient’s insurance coverage information for the office prior to appointments.
Our teams also have the support of a Team Leader for guidance, coaching, and problem solving.
Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of dedicated experience; most recently in the last 12 months
- Have a dedicated work space, reliable computer, printer and high speed internet
- Know how to accurately post payments and adjustments

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Editor for Insurance Solutions Newsletter: {https://www.practicebooster.com/newsletter.asp} – This incredible bi-monthly publication serves as one of the Dental industry’s top authorities on proper reporting of dental procedures to both dental and medical payers. You should have a strong background in editing and writing, organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all aspects of production for 6 issues per year published every other month
- Plan, organize, and edit all content (16 pages, approximately 8,000-9,000 words)
- Trafficking articles between editorial staff, collaborate with Dr. Blair and Dr. Shelburne
- Update content edits from proofers (3 tiers of editorial staff)
- Edit and proof all content discern final edits
- Write, edit, proof marketing, promotions, adverts as necessary
- Communicate with management for marketing of other products
- Attend the annual ADA coding conference (Code Maintenance Committee) and generate the basic knowledge of new, revised, editorial revisions, and deleted codes for all publications.

Qualifications:

- Mentoring new SCs and new Lead SCs
- Holding Regional Level 10 meetings to hold teams accountable and build team unity
- Holding 1:1s with assigned Lead SCs once a month
- Attending all TL Level 10s (1x/week), all All Hands Meetings, and other live company-wide meetings
- Complete at least 1-3 quarterly rocks to help your teams succeed
- Attend at least 1 HBS course per month
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all team members and offices. Respond to both within 24 hours
- Attend all KOC and pre-KOCs for offices assigned to you

As a specialist on the new Dental Support Team, you will be expected to respond via voice, text or email to individuals with coding, billing, and insurance administration questions posed by subscribers to the PracticeBooster Website, the Insurance Solutions Newsletter and eAssist Nation. Questions from vetted individuals will be forwarded to you to provide an accurate response and any supportive information required. Supportive information may include but not limited to, published articles, links to appropriate websites and reference sites and resources that are a part of PracticeBooster and/or the Insurance Solutions Newsletter. Any and all questions should be responded to within 24 business hours from the time of receipt. There may be days when there are 1 or 2 questions, and other days you may respond to 15-20 questions.
Success will be measured by response time, accuracy of the responses and satisfaction scores provided by the subscriber. This position is a part time position and compensation will be based in part by the number of responses recorded during the pay period and the time required to respond. The employee would be supervised by the Director of Insurance Administration and Compliance. The scope of the position may be modified, subject to mutual agreement, during the assimilation of the Blair suite of services.

Patient Billing Responsibilities:
Mission: To collect monies owed to the office from the patient.

Patient Billing is an opportunity for disciplined, detail-oriented people. You must be able to review account ledgers quickly and efficiently. Also review payments and EOBs with detail to make sure appropriate payments and adjustments were made.
Communication is a big part of this role – not only with the eAssist team for adjustment or clarification of payments, but also with the office in regards to patients and their portions. You will also be tasked with calling patients to answer any questions they may have after receiving a statement. It is recommended that you schedule a minimum of one evening during the week to make calls on patient accounts over 60 days old.
You must send out 3 statements and 3 collection letters over a period of time to try and collect on overdue balances. You will also need to be in touch with the office to set-up payment plans for patients with office approval. There is also the opportunity to work with a collection agency if the office is interested in having you take on that communication as well.

Insurance Verification Specialist:
An accurate and reliable insurance breakdown is essential to a practice’s insurance protocol. In the role of Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be delivering accurate information for a variety of verifications in a timely fashion (48 hours prior to patient’s scheduled appointment), and in a kind and professional manner. Our clients choose between a basic, extensive, extensive plus plan as well as decide to have us enter the data or simply upload our standardized forms for them into the patient’s document center.
Expectations and Commitment:
As an Independent Contractor, you must come to us with full knowledge of how to complete an extensive dental insurance verification and perform all of the tasks and functions on an already mastered dental software, on your own computer that meets or exceeds our IT requirements.
All new undertakings have an adjustment period, and we estimate that becoming accustomed to eAssist, your new office and their expectations, and acclimating to working virtually will take about 6-8 weeks. In most cases, you will be implementing a new system for your office and this can be heavily front loaded with time until you create your database of insurance plans to make your process more efficient. As a new business owner, it is common and expected to put more time and energy into building your business in the beginning.
Individuals will be expected to have at least 3 hours a day, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours (8:00-5:00 est) to dedicate to this role.

MUST HAVE at least 1 accumulative year of extensive DENTAL INSURANCE VERIFICATION experience as your primary responsibility either as a DENTAL Office Manager, Insurance Coordinator or similar title.

Job description and Qualifications
Previous medical billing experience with dental billing knowledge required! In the role of being a medical biller you will support your clients by working to collect what is rightfully owed and properly follow up on the outstanding medical claims. This role requires you to work hard, effectively listen to and communicate with the medical insurance plan, patients, as well as the client. You will need to be very organized with an established routine in order to be able to properly track the claims. You will need to inform the office when a patient has a high deductible to prepare them for possible zero pay. You’ll also need to look at all denials and confirm that the explanation of benefits is accurate, and provide guidance to the office when procedures are being walked out and filed against guidelines.

You will support the company by resolving computer-related issues for various Dental Offices, Dental Remote workers and employees. We are a fast paced company, and are looking for someone that functions well in a team environment and is a high driven achiever. You will have the ability to do what you love from the comfort of your home office by joining our IT Help Desk team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, or video conference
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- Preferably has experience in dental offices
- Experience with software, hardware, VPN and RDP
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
